Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for an Accounting Specialist to work at our office in Frederick, MD. This Accounting Specialist position has a hybrid flexible schedule and is a highly interactive position with touchpoints to many parts of the organization. Primary areas of responsibilities include All Product Costing activity, Inventory Accounting and production input of WIP and Finished Goods. Qualified candidates must have a college degree in Accounting or related field and 2-3 years of experience.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop, enter and track standard costs
• Manage new inventory items within the accounting system
• Manage month end inventory counts, investigate discrepancies and variances for raw materials, finished goods and merchandise
• Track product batches throughout the production cycle
• Enter production transactions
• Manage integration of programs into main accounting system
• Producing monthly reports as well as customized reports as requested
• Completion of monthly TTB Brewer’s Report of Operations

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 2-3 years relevant experience preferably in manufacturing environment
• General knowledge of GAAP
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and possess advanced Excel skills
